CEA Career Bootcamp Nomination Form

Nominate someone for the CEA career bootcamp

Thanks for helping us find great participants. We're currently running two tracks: one open to accomplished professionals from any background, and one tailored to people with operations and organisational leadership expertise. Both run in weekday and weekend formats, and are free and online. More info here.

Who to nominate

People who meet these three criteria, the same ones from our landing page:

1. Proven track record. They've developed skills and achieved strong results in some domain.

2. Impact-driven. They want to apply their abilities to solving the world's most important problems and are open-minded about the best ways to help others.

3. Action-oriented. They're ready to commit time and energy to taking meaningful steps, not just thinking about them.

Most participants are mid-career with 5+ years' experience, but it's not required. No prior familiarity with effective altruism needed.

How it works

You fill out this form with their name and email if you have it (LinkedIn URL as a backup).

We reach out to them directly with a low-pressure invite. You can see a draft of what we'll send them here.

If they apply and are accepted, we pay you $100 per person. No maximum on the number of nominations or rewards.

We will only use nominees' contact details for this one round of outreach. We won't contact them again for future rounds unless they apply.

You can choose whether we mention your name in our outreach or keep it anonymous. We know some people would rather not signal to colleagues that they explored a career change.

Optional but helpful: If you want to increase the chance your top picks respond to us, you could send them a quick heads-up, something like: "Hey, you might get a message from the Centre for Effective Altruism about a career bootcamp I did. Came from me; thought you'd find it interesting."

How many people are you nominating?

Note: If you try to increase the number later, e.g. deleting the answer "1" to type "2" instead, the form will delete the answers you drafted below. So it's better to just submit the form again with new people rather than do that!
